Celebrating a successful 50 year partnership with The Diocese of Bristol
At Hookway we take great pride in the enduring nature of the relationships that we have with our clients. An outstanding example would be the 50-year partnership that we have with The Diocese of Bristol.
The Diocese of Bristol’s property portfolio includes around 150 vicarages, all located between Bristol and Swindon. This includes a mixture of buildings ranging from modern, purpose-built dwellings to listed Georgian mansions. Our team of surveyors handles core building surveying services for all of these properties, including managing planned, preventative maintenance and responsive repairs. In addition we work on occasional refurbishment, remodelling and extension projects, as well as advising on acquisition or disposal of assets.
A relationship built on trust
We work alongside the Diocesan property team who often organise sundry work on the vicarages, but know they can call on Hookway to get involved when more onerous, specialised advice or work is required such as Partywall issues, regulatory operations or liaising with planning and conservation officers when repair works are required.
The Diocesan property team trust us to ensure that all works are carried out to a high standard and that projects run smoothly with costs carefully monitored and controlled in-line with pre-agreed budgets. In all instances we ensure that our client’s needs are fully met in the most efficient, cost effective way possible and that they are kept fully informed throughout the process - read full case study.
