Hookway's RICS chartered surveyors can offer comprehensive, professional advice relating to Party Wall legislation. You may require a Party Wall Surveyor if you are planning on any of the following;

•    The construction of a new wall at the boundary of two properties
•    Cutting into a party wall, for example for removal of a chimney breast, or insertion of a steel supporting beam
•    Knocking down or rebuilding an existing Party Wall
•    Knocking down or rebuilding a boundary wall under a Line of Junction Notice
•    Excavations within between 3 and 6 metres of a neighbouring property’s foundations.

Testimonial

“The kitchen and dining hall project has dramatically improved the school. Hookway was instrumental in assisting us obtaining funding and ensuring smooth project management. ”

“The whole project has been a complete success from start to finish. Hookway and the builders (HBC) were a pleasure to deal with and the project management was highly professional.”

“The new building has been open for over a year and teachers and pupils are still excited about it. It is so well designed in terms of light, space and ventilation that it is a joy to work in. The projecting roof at each end creates fantastic covered play space.”
