Hookway has in depth knowledge of all aspects of the design and construction phase of building, together with appreciation of all health and safety matters and a thorough understanding of the CDM Regulations. We work with the client to; 

•    ensure the client is fully aware of his duties
•    ensure that the appointed design team has the skills and knowledge to fulfil their duties 
•    help and advise the client in bringing together pre-construction information
•    provide the information designers need to carry out their duties
•    work with other designers on the project to eliminate foreseeable health and safety risks
•    take steps to reduce or control health & safety risks that can’t be eliminated
•    offer contractor competency assessments
•    issue pre tender Health & Safety plans
•    provide a Principal Contractors construction plan review
•    assess changes to design with reference to CDM requirements
•    provide CDM compliance inspections
•    carry out site visits and meetings
•    ensure the production of the Health & Safety file upon completion
