Overview

Hookway is experienced in most types of residential construction and maintenance to include one off ‘grand design’ housing, social housing, student accommodation and everything in-between - be it on a green or brown field site, new build, refurbishment or conversion.

We are able to assist with all aspects of residential assets to include site option appraisals, planned and preventative maintenance on property portfolios, initial budget estimating and cost planning through to full cost and project management from the inception to the completion of your project. We are also able to offer the Principal Designer service and have good working relationships with other professionals to enable us to offer a ‘one stop shop’ for the life of your buildings.
We work with housing associations, private clients, and other organisations to provide cost effective and marketable buildings to suit the budget and aspirations of our clients.

Our Approach

Understanding the needs, aspirations and financial requirements of our client is key to being able to help deliver residential buildings that are marketable, attractive, and sustainable and provide value for money.

Using the experience of our team we are able to provide early key advice on the suitability of the site and able to then provide detailed cost estimates to enable informed decisions to be made on the viability of a scheme. Should the project progress we are able to offer as much or little help as required to meet the individual needs of our clients.  We understand the market forces and financial constraints of the residential market and the tight budgets that many of our clients must work within.

Similarly the cost of maintaining existing buildings can prove difficult to budget for and also manage. Hookway is able to offer a full proactive and reactive maintenance service. Our team of surveyors are able to undertake condition surveys and arrange and manage all works required using our local knowledge and list of trusted contractors. We have built up a detailed knowledge of our clients built assets and look after hundreds of buildings throughout the south west and beyond providing peace of mind that the condition of the buildings is being activity maintained thus helping reduce any unforeseen expenditure in the future.
